The Gallows Run Watershed Association and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will be conducting a clean-up of the Gallows Run and Lynn Island on Sunday, November 6, from 1-4 PM. Volunteers will be collecting debris left by recent flooding of the Delaware River. River conditions permitting, we will be providing canoes to access Lynn Island from the mouth of the Gallows Run in Kintnersville. Volunteers will need sturdy work shoes or waders to collect trash, and long-sleeved shirts and pants are recommended. Our volunteers have found it helpful to carry a collection bucket with them. Parking is available at the American Grill Restaurant, upstream of Lynn Island, where we will meet at 9AM. This outing is not appropriate for young children.
